Marriage Equality!   Same sex, Queer-friendly weddings!   GLBTQ

Mazal Tov - Congratulations to ALL whose marriages are now recognized throughout our country, thanks to SCOTUS.

I have been involved in and advocating for the queer community since the mid-1980s, when I served on the board of the Gay and Lesbian Youth Association of Seattle. I am proud and honored to have helped members of the LGBTQ community celebrate weddings in Vermont and New Hampshire, and I am glad that Washington is among the states where same-sex marriage is legal. I believe that all couples who find love and who desire to make a home and a family together, no matter their sexuality, are a blessing to the larger community - and have the blessing of God. We need more love in this world! As a rabbi, it is my honor to bless and celebrate with you!

I would be honored to help you and your partner create the right wedding ceremony, including appropriate language for your partnership in Hebrew and English. I will work with you to find or design a Ketubah text that is meaningful to you. Marriage equality means just that - and everything I would do for any wedding is what I will bring to my work with you.
